VOLNTEE—What's Missing? UR!
The TJS PTO thrives because parents, teachers, and staff work together for our children—and your involvement truly makes a difference.
Our events need parent volunteers not only to run smoothly, but to run at all.
Parenting in today’s world is incredibly busy, and it is easy to think, “there are plenty of volunteers; somebody else can do it.” There aren’t. We are running extremely low on our TJS magic makers, and there are many roles that vary in time, commitment and responsibility.

Categories of roles:
Lead- You run the show. You own the event, you make it happen.
Committee member- Help the leader run the show with other parents.
Event helper- You help at the actual event; no pre-planning necessary.
Two Hour Pledger- Give us 120 minutes, and we’ll help you make magic at some point during the year for the kids!
Pajama volunteering/Couch Tasks- You complete some micro jobs that will take an hour or so while watching TV. This is a great option for working parents who want to fit in their support at "odd" hours.
